Learn vintage swing dancing in the classic Lindy Hop style from 1930s Harlem, at our weekly classes and social, in Manchester city centre.

No partner required, but you may choose to arrive with a partner and stay with them throughout the evening.
VENUE
The Storehouse, is accessed through the main entrance of Whitworth Locke on Princess St. Head through the bar, and down the stairs on the left. Please bring a water bottle. You may bring your own alcoholic drinks (downstairs only), or purchase from the bar upstairs. This is a non-profit, community led event. Please get in touch through this page, to volunteer (DJ, teaching, door).
COVID POLICY
We continue to encourage dancers to make use of lateral flow tests before attending, and to practice good hygiene. This event is run in accordance with government guidelines, which currently means that all attendees should hold a valid covid pass, and that face coverings are optional. We recognise that some people will not yet be comfortable mixing in such a setting, and we look forward to welcoming you back, when you are.
SAFETY IN SWING
We are a welcoming and inclusive community. We subscribe to the S.T.E.P.S. code, which promotes appropriate conduct at swing dance events, and can be found online. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
