Frequently Asked Questions

All apartments feature a UK king-size bed (150cm x 200cm). In our City Studio Twin rooms, beds can be configured as two singles or combined into a larger 180cm x 200cm bed for added flexibility.

Absolutely - dogs are welcome at all of our locations. There’s a one-off cleaning fee of £40 / €40 / CHF 40 per stay, and we’ll do everything we can to make sure both you and your four-legged companion feel at home.

Here’s what to know before you book:

  • One dog per apartment, up to 30kg
  • Dogs only – no cats or other pets (sorry!)
  • All guests with dogs will need to sign our Locke Pet Waiver on arrival
  • Doggie guests must have up-to-date vaccinations (and we may ask for proof)
  • Dog beds and bowls are available on request, but not guaranteed

Add the little paws to your booking:
Pick your dates and room, then select the ‘Dog Companion Charge’ under ‘Enhance your stay’ before checking out.

Choosing your apartment:
All room types are dog friendly. But if you're travelling with a larger pub, we'd recommend a Locke Studio or one of our larger room types, such as a one-bedroom or suite, to give you both a bit more space to relax. 

Staying at one of our Cove by Locke locations? Larger one-bedroom apartments are a great option for guests travelling with bigger dogs. 

Prefer to keep your sleeping space dog-free? Go for a suite, so you can close the bedroom door.

Don’t leave your dog alone in the room:
We recommend keeping your dog with you. If you need to step out for a bit, just let a House Host know, and we’ll sort things out.

Top tips for a happy stay:
Bring familiar toys, stick to their usual routine, and make time for walks and exercise. A comfortable dog means a calmer, more relaxed stay for everyone.

We offer a daily refresh service upon request. We’ll replace your towels, empty your bins, and tidy your bed. Please let Reception know at least 24 hours in advance to schedule it.

Our aim is to make you feel at home while respecting your privacy so your apartment will be cleaned once a week. Please note that we won’t clean the kitchen area but your apartment is equipped with everything you may need. 

Please note at Locke am Platz, a daily refresh is provided as standard. After seven days, your room will receive a full clean (excluding the kitchen). If you’d rather skip the daily refresh or clean linens, just let us know and we’ll adjust things to suit your preferences.

For our unmanned properties, Cove Huntingdon House & Cove The Moorgate, please confirm at least 24 hours in advance with the team over WhatsApp. 

For our other Cove properties, let reception know at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a service at Cannon Street, Centrum, Minshull Street, Landmark Pinnacle, Paradise Street and Whittenberg.
