Absolutely - dogs are welcome at all of our locations. There’s a one-off cleaning fee of £40 / €40 / CHF 40 per stay, and we’ll do everything we can to make sure both you and your four-legged companion feel at home.

Here’s what to know before you book:

• One dog per apartment, up to 30kg
• Dogs only – no cats or other pets (sorry!)
• All guests with dogs will need to sign our Locke Pet Waiver on arrival
• Doggie guests must have up-to-date vaccinations (and we may ask for proof)
• Dog beds and bowls are available on request, but not guaranteed

Add the little paws to your booking:
Pick your dates and room, then select the ‘Dog Companion Charge’ under ‘Enhance your stay’ before checking out.

Choosing your apartment:
All room types are dog friendly. But if you're travelling with a larger pub, we'd recommend a Locke Studio or one of our larger room types, such as a one-bedroom or suite, to give you both a bit more space to relax. 

Staying at one of our Cove by Locke locations? Larger one-bedroom apartments are a great option for guests travelling with bigger dogs. 

Prefer to keep your sleeping space dog-free? Go for a suite, so you can close the bedroom door.

Don’t leave your dog alone in the room:
We recommend keeping your dog with you. If you need to step out for a bit, just let a House Host know, and we’ll sort things out.

Top tips for a happy stay:
Bring familiar toys, stick to their usual routine, and make time for walks and exercise. A comfortable dog means a calmer, more relaxed stay for everyone.

Locke at East Side Gallery offers more than just a place to sleep. Whether you’re here for a short break or settling in for longer, you’ll find the space, flexibility and features to live as you like, with Berlin just outside your door.

In the apartments.
Inside, you’ll find everything you need to cook, relax or get some work done, including:

• A fully equipped kitchen with hob, fridge/freezer and microwave grill
• UK king-size bed (150cm x 200cm)
• Smart HD TV with screen mirroring and HDMI
• Rainfall shower
• Private, high-speed Wi-Fi (100 Mbps)
• Air conditioning
• A workspace or table in most apartments – or access to the co-working lounge downstairs
• Access to communal laundry (washer/dryer available in some apartments)
• Everyday essentials – including a hairdryer, iron, safe and USB charging points
• Towels provided (one set per guest)
• Kinsey Apothecary toiletries
• USB sockets
• Safe

Cots are available on request, for under 3's only. Subject to availability. Please speak to a House Host on arrival.

Space to suit you.
From compact City Studios to River View apartments, there’s a layout to match your stay. On average, apartments are 22m² – designed to give you just the right amount of space to feel at home. Although twin beds and interconnecting apartments are not available, each space is thoughtfully designed to feel like home – functional, stylish, and flexible for every type of stay.

Some room categories at Locke at East Side Gallery include a private balcony, but not all. To guarantee one, we recommend booking a City Studio, City View Suite, One Bedroom Suite, or River Suite. These apartments give you extra space to breathe and connect with Berlin.

Accessible by design.
Six of our apartments are fully accessible City Studios, each with:

• Wet-room style bathrooms
• Shower seats
• Emergency help cords

As with all Locke properties, thoughtful accessibility features are in place throughout to support a more comfortable stay.

Need anything else?
There’s a Locke Shop on-site in case you’ve forgotten your dental kit, toothbrush, or other essentials.

If you arrive without a plug adapter or extension lead, just speak to a House Host. While we don’t stock these on-site, we’ll happily point you in the right direction to pick one up nearby.
