Restaurants & Bars

Eat, drink, get your hair done, in whichever order suits. A brasserie-style pub, a hair salon with a serious bar, and a café for the quieter moments, all at Turing Locke.

Eat. Drink. Get a haircut.

The Starman pours pints and plates up British comfort food from breakfast through to last orders. Next door, Douce cuts hair by day and cocktails by night — proof that a salon can also be your local. And for the quieter hours, Luqa serves coffee and small bites, no appointment or reservation needed. Pick your venue, or work your way round all three.

A Cambridge pub with its feet on local ground and its head in the cosmos. Expect brasserie-style all-day dining — prawn cocktails, steaks, indulgent puddings — alongside local ales, classic cocktails and an intergalactic soundtrack. Open seven days, from breakfast through to dinner.

Turing Locke's newest addition: coffee done properly, and small bites for whenever hunger strikes. No fuss, no fixed hours to work around — just good coffee and a place to sit with it.

More than a hair salon. Behind the five chairs, Douce runs a barista bar by morning and a proper drinks list by evening — local wines, craft beer, canned cocktails. Come for a cut, stay for a glass of something. Family-run, unapologetically itself.
