What can I recycle, and how is my rubbish and recycling collected from my apartment?
We recycle, just a little differently at each location. Across our properties, you’ll find bins for general waste, mixed recycling, and paper/cardboard (and glass at some locations). Stickers on the bins in your apartment will help guide you, though the exact setup may vary slightly depending on local guidelines.
At most locations, rubbish and recycling are disposed of during your weekly clean. If you would like rubbish collected before your scheduled clean, please let the team know at reception or by phone.
At Cove Whittenberg, general waste is collected on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while recycling is collected on Mondays and Fridays. Please separate paper and glass from your general waste. Recycling is typically collected once a week from inside your apartment, but if you prefer, you can also leave the bag outside your door for collection.
If, at any point during your stay, you need to empty your bins, simply speak to reception and they’ll point you in the right direction.
